It ain’t squishy, that’s for sure, but it’s got a gorgeous drape and softens up with each wash until you’ve got that heirloom garment that you may never want to knit again but will wear ALL THE TIME.

Officially: 

High quality Belgian linen wet spun to soften and smooth the linen fibres and produce a very strong yarn with a natural sheen. This is an excellent fibre not only for knitting and crocheting, but for weaving, too! Combined with the mulberry silk the yarn is smooth and lusterous, albeit stiffer than wool. 

Suggested needles/gauge

Recommended needle size: 2.5 - 4mm (US 1.5 - 6) and D-G hook 

Gauge (stocking stitch): 28st x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches on 3.25mm (US 3) needles 

Knit this yarn on 2.5mm needles for a denser (not see through) fabric for t-shirts or sweaters, or use larger needles/hooks for more airy items such as shawls and cover ups
